Welcome to Season 2: Episode 2 of Chumming with Sharky™ where viewers from every corner of the deep blue sea are treated to a small taste of talented authors from a myriad of genres. Today, it is my pleasure to welcome one of my favorite women on the planet, Eden Baylee (author of the very hot and well-written Fall into Winter and Spring into Summer) to chat it up talk show style. This episode is rated “M” for “Mature” and not appropriate for those tadpoles, minnows, and fishies under 18. Okay, now that I have that silly disclaimer out of the way, let’s get on with the show…

Good friend and fellow author, Rob Pruneda, released his book, Devil’s Nightmare earlier this year, and I’ve wanted to do a promo for him for some time. I knew he was getting the cover redesigned, so I waited for that to happen first. You may recall I  interviewed Rob last year and we became chummy while working on the Indies Unite for Joshua fundraiser.

Rob’s first book, Pursuit of a Dream was such a sweet read and not normally what I’d pick up, but I truly enjoyed it and easily gave it 5 stars. Find out what I said in my review.

Now, Rob has switched gears, and he’s written a horror-thriller with Devil’s Nightmare. It’s also getting some excellent reviews! Check out the fabulous new cover design and pick up your copy. For now, it’s available in ebook format, but the print version will come out later this year.

“If you like Stephen King, then you’ll love Devil’s Nightmare by Robert Pruneda.” | S.G. Lee, author of A Penny Saved, A Murder Earned

Detective Aaron Sanders’ abilities and fortitude are put to the test when he investigates a brutal double-homicide where a boy’s parents are found mutilated inside their home. The boy is the only witness to the crime and his clothes are stained with his parents’ blood. His clothes are also tainted with the blood of other victims from a separate and even more horrific crime scene at a nearby cemetery. All of the victims appear to have been killed in the same manner and the boy knows the true identity of the evil responsible for the multiple deaths, but he is unwilling to talk. No one Devils Nightmarewould believe him. A threat on the boy’s life and a disturbing nightmare causes Detective Sanders to question his beliefs and his own sanity. This investigation ultimately leads Sanders in a fight to save himself and the life of an orphaned boy from an unimaginable evil that is spawned from the curse of the devil’s nightmare.

I had the privilege of reading an advanced copy of Enigma Black by Sara Furlong Burr last year and just recently read it again after purchasing a copy for my Kindle Fire as soon as it was published exclusively on Amazon. I normally don’t read superhero type stories, and I don’t read comics, so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this story or not when I first read it. I’m here to say the second time around was just as enjoyable (if not more than) the beta read. Read my review of Enigma Black by clicking on the cover image below:

On Sunday, Feb. 10, I had the pleasure of visiting the cyber-dwelling of the super cool Jill Edmondson (author of the Sasha Jackson Mysteries) to chat about writing and my horror-thriller Devil’s Nightmare, which by the way, has a new professionally designed cover. I had loads of fun with this interview and I hope you enjoy it too. Click on the Devil’s Nightmare banner below to get beamed over to Jill’s site for the full interview.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the home of the badass Billy Purgatory for a one-on-one interview with the author of #badassary Jesse James Freeman for his 11 Questions of Badassary.
